Dart stems (also called shafts) sit between the barrel and the flight - and the length and material you choose affects your dart's angle and balance in the air more than most players realise. Shorter stems produce a steeper trajectory; longer stems flatten it out. Material matters too: nylon is cheap and forgiving, aluminium is more durable, and carbon or titanium options are lighter and nearly unbreakable.
We carry stems in short, midi, and medium lengths from Harrows, Unicorn, Datadart, and more. Most players who are tuning their setup benefit from pairing stem changes with a matching dart flight adjustment - the two work together. If you're new to this, the FAQs at the bottom of this page cover the basics of stem length and what to try first. All orders ship from Auckland.
